Located on Center Hill Lake, Edgar Evins State Park is only an hour outside Nashville and offers top-notch state park lodging and opportunities for outdoor recreation. It is within a 30-minute drive of some of the most iconic waterfalls in Tennessee at Cummins Falls State Park and Burgess Falls State Park. Edgar Evins is also close to paddling outfitters offering kayaks and canoes on the scenic Caney Fork River. Inside the park, you can climb to the top of the lookout tower, hike near the lake, visit the nature center, and stargaze. Natchez Trace State Park

Natchez Trace State Park sits on a 48,000-acre mass of land with a state forest and wildlife management area (WMA).
