Located on Center Hill Lake, Edgar Evins State Park is only an hour outside Nashville and offers top-notch state park lodging and opportunities for outdoor recreation. It is within a 30-minute drive of some of the most iconic waterfalls in Tennessee at Cummins Falls State Park and Burgess Falls State Park. Edgar Evins is also close to paddling outfitters offering kayaks and canoes on the scenic Caney Fork River. Inside the park, you can climb to the top of the lookout tower, hike near the lake, visit the nature center, and stargaze. The cabins sit on a hill above the lake and offer a split-level layout with two sleeping areas. This layout is ideal for families and couples.

Natchez Trace State Park

Natchez Trace State Park sits on a 48,000-acre mass of land with a state forest and wildlife management area (WMA). Reelfoot Lake State Park

Wedged in the top left corner of Tennessee, Reelfoot Lake State Park is a bucket list destination. The park surrounds around a flooded cypress forest that a variety of impressive birds call home throughout the year. In March, you can view bald eagles soaring and nesting on the lake. Park staff lead daily tours throughout March to help you observe the eagles and discuss the natural and cultural history of the area. The park also offers some of the best cabins in the state.
